Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be a citizen of any country except Australia and New Zealand;
  • Be a holder of a valid scholarship from another university to study in a similar field of study to the one you intend to study at the University of Adelaide;
  • Have a University of Adelaide offers of admission (full offer or conditional offer) as a full-fee-paying international student;
  • Be commencing international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students in any discipline.
  • Note: Scholarship applicants who are eligible for more than one scholarship offered by the University of Adelaide will only be entitled to receive one scholarship (the highest value scholarship award for which they are eligible).






English Language Requirements: The University’s preferred accredited English language tests are:

  • IELTS(International English Language Testing System) – Academic Test
  • TOEFL– internet based and paper based
  • Pearson Test of English– Academic
  • CAE (Cambridge English: Advanced).

However, the University may accept other evidence of proficiency in English in individual cases.

The majority of language tests and qualifications that meet the University’s minimum English requirements have a validity of two years preceding the date of application.

The University of Paris-Sud, also known as the University of Paris XI, is a French university distributed among several campuses in the southern suburbs of Paris including Orsay, Cachan, Châtenay-Malabry, Sceaux and Kremlin-Bicêtre campuses.

The candidate should have a very good command of English language. Therefore, the application should be written in English.

These scholarships are awarded to outstanding professionals from your country and beyond to pursue a one-year master’s degree in any subject at any UK university.

Scholarship Value: Fully-Funded

Number of Scholarship: 1,500

Scholarship Type: Masters

Courses: Applicants will need to select three different master's courses, these can be three different courses at the same institution or the same-titled course but at three different universities in UK. You should choose your field of study carefully and select courses which reflect your current or future career goals. To be awarded a scholarship, you must get an unconditional offer for one of your course choices by 12 July 2018. Choose your three courses carefully as you won't be able to change them after submitting your application. 

Who Can Apply?: To be eligible for a Chevening Award you must:

  • Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country 
  • Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended 
  • Have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK. 
  • Have at least two years’ work experience (this may be up to five years for fellowship programmes, so please refer to your country page for further details) 
  • Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by 12 July 2018 
  • Meet the Chevening English language requirement by 12 July 2018.








Chevening accepts English language tests from five providers:

TOEFL iBT 
Cambridge English: Advanced (CEA) 
Trinity ISE II (B2) 
The English language test must be taken from one of these providers on or after 1 October 2015. If you do not already have an existing eligible test certificate, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have booked a test date so that you can obtain the required results.

In order to submit your Chevening Scholarship application, it is essential that you have the following ready:

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme was established by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education establishments to attract top foreign students to enroll in their master’s and Ph.D. courses.

It helps to shape the future foreign decision-makers of the private and public sectors, in priority areas of study and encourages applications from emerging countries at master’s level, and from emerging and industrialized countries at Ph.D. level.

EIFFEL SCHOLARSHIP FIELD(S) OF STUDY & DURATION.
The four major fields of studies covered by Eiffel scholarships are:

  • law;
  • economics and management; engineering sciences at Masters’ level, sciences in the broad sense for the Doctorate/ Ph.D. level (engineering science; exact sciences: mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences, nano and biotechnologies, Earth, space and environmental sciences, information sciences and technologies and communication);
  • political sciences.


EIFFEL SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS.

  • Masters’level: Eiffel scholarship recipients benefit from a monthly allowance of 1,181 EUR (1,031 EUR of maintenance allowance and 150 EUR of monthly compensation).
  • Ph.D. level: Eiffel scholarship recipients benefit from a monthly allowance of 1,400 EUR.
  • In addition, the programme covers various expenses:an international travel ticket arrival – repatriation;

Campus France social security for students over 28 years old, additional health security for students under 28 years old; cultural activities.

In addition, they may benefit from additional housing allowance under specific conditions.

NB: The Eiffel scholarship does not cover the cost of the course.









EIFFEL SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY.

  • Nationality: this program is exclusively for foreign applicants. Binational applicants who are part French are not eligible.
  • Age: At Masters’ level, the applicant must be at most 30 years old at the date of the selection committee, i. e. be born the same day or after March 12, 1987. At Ph.D. level, the applicant must be at most 35 years old at the date of the selection committee, i. e. be born the same day or after March 12, 1982.
  • Origin of applications: only applications filed by French institutions are eligible. French institutions guarantee to register scholarship recipients in the training for which they were selected. Applicants filed through other means are not eligible. In addition, an applicant presented by more than one institution will have its application rejected.
  • Training available: are eligible applicants able to study in a training granting a degree at Masters’ level, including in schools of engineering, and applicants in Ph.D. Outsourced French training abroad are not included in the scheme.
  • Training as part of a contract of apprenticeship or a professionalization contract are not eligible for Eiffel scholarships.
  • Multiple scholarships: foreign students who already benefit from a scholarship from the French government as part of a specific program when they file their application are not eligible, even though their scholarship only covers social security.
  • Eiffel scholarship (Masters’): the application of a student whose file was rejected during a previous selection is not eligible, even though his/her application is filed by a different institution or in a different field of studies. The application of a student who has already benefitted from an Eiffel scholarship at Masters’ level is not eligible for this same level.
  • Eiffel scholarship (Ph.D.): institutions are allowed to present an applicant who already benefitted an Eiffel scholarship at Masters’ level for a Ph.D. level. An applicant who already benefitted from an Eiffel scholarship as part of a Ph.D. is not eligible for an Eiffel scholarship for the second time. The application of a student whose file was rejected during a previous selection for this level of studies is not eligible, even though his/her application is filed by a different institution or in a different field of studies.
  • Level of language: institutions drawing a shortlist of non-French-speaking applicants must ensure their linguistic level matches the level required for the training. 


Students currently studying abroad have priority compared to those already living in France.

HOW TO APPLY FOR EIFFEL SCHOLARSHIP.

Applicants are not expected to apply directly for Eiffel scholarships. Applications are submitted by French higher education institutions.

To be considered for Eiffel scholarships, candidates must apply and meet the requirements of French Higher Education Institutions.

French higher education institutions draw a shortlist of applicants they present to the Eiffel program among the best foreign students they want to host in their training.

The institutions are in charge of completing and filing application files online.
